A UCLA study has concluded that Hollywood is a big air polluter. Hollywood produces more smog gases than are produced by aerospace manufacturing, apparel, hotels and semi-conductor manufacturing. Hollywood must do something about this besides buying a Prius as the 6th car and bragging about it. Or sending out emails claiming some victory or movement.Some movie studios are buying carbon offsets and The Matrix folk recycled the set. If Hollywood cannot set an example for the rest of the nation, then its salespeople (celebrity actors and directors) should stop shining us on.
